San Francisco Restaurant Logo Design
Acclaimed restaurateur Donna Scala entered into an exclusive partnership with The Hilton Family of Hotels to develop signature casual dining concepts for its full-service hotel brands.
Under Donna's creative leadership, Hilton Hotels Corporation will transform their casual dining restaurants into memorable, social destinations, Donna will re-concept nearly all existing casual restaurants in the company owned North American hotels. The first project to come out of the partnership is Urban Tavern at the landmark Hilton San Francisco. Urban Tavern will be a warm and inviting gathering place to meet, eat and drink.
Donna and Hilton management chose kenCREATIVE to design the identity for this new restaurant concept. Scheduled to open this spring, the restaurant will feature a horse sculpture that we characterized in the logo. The mix of typefaces helps reinforce the sophisticated, yet friendly quality of the dining experience, while the gray and brown colors reflect the interior décor of Urban Tavern.
