Garden Care Brand Identity and Package Design Development

In 2002, Rod McLellan Company acquired Whitney Farms. Whitney Farms Life Link is a sub-brand of fertilizer products that contain soil-enhancing organic microbes. The packaging needed a complete redesign, encompassing the "Life Link" news, to be more appealing at retail.

Our package design solution was anchored by beautiful watercolor and woodcut illustrations that highlight the end result of product usage. The Life Link logo we created fills the right hand column and reverses from the strong product color-coding while still allowing strong Whitney Farms branding.

Whitney Farms product line includes 18 SKU's of plant foods and fertilizers and three SKU's of lawn care.
